Central Co-op has been a treasured shopping destination for Seattle neighbors for over 40 years. Located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, this community-owned natural foods store offers a wide selection of sustainable, fresh, and locally sourced fruits and vegetables.

Originally founded on Seattle’s Capitol Hill in 1978, Central Co-op is shopper-and employee-owned, with over 12,000 shoppers visiting weekly.

Central Co-op was selected to be a Fresh Bucks retail partner in response to community input. The co-op supports neighboring community partners with financial support, food support, and with community donations. 

At Central Co-op you will find well stocked organic produce, a large selection of bulk goods and herbs, an assortment of deli items, humanely raised meat and seafood, as well as a health and wellness section. The co-op prides itself on reducing their carbon footprint by sourcing from local vendors whenever possible, including 400 Washington state producers, and reducing their carbon footprint.

Central Co-op, located at 1600 E Madison St., is open to the public and open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
