Cascadia Produce, a wholesale entity, recently opened the Cascadia Fresh Market as their first retail store in the North Delridge Neighborhood of West Seattle (Fresh Bucks customers will know this location as it previously housed retail partner, Delridge Grocery Co-op).
Cascadia Fresh Market focuses on low-cost, fresh food access and have a rotating variety that includes affordable berries, avocados, mangoes, leafy greens, cauliflowers, broccoli, onions, microgreens, potatoes, bananas, squash, asparagus, leeks, beets, tomatoes… so much fresh food on a constant basis. They also stock canned and frozen produce options and they look forward to hosting edible plant start swaps in the future!
They are a market that values community, supporting local elementary schools by partnering with a different school each day of the week for an ongoing, rolling fundraiser. By shopping at the market on the designated day of a school you are sending 20% of your purchase back to the PTA to fund programs important to our local families.
Owners Jillian Moore and Jeremy Vrablik welcome you to visit and they share that they “have unique access to exciting foods, like purple cauliflower or sour kumquat or plantains, which spark joy and connection within people as well as nourishing their bodies. We love good food and we love to see people able to choose what they want without the barrier of price. All people deserve good food.”
Shop Cascadia Fresh Market with your Fresh Bucks at 5444 Delridge Way SW in Seattle. They are open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
